Information page for the total solar eclipse on 12 August 2026

The Icelandic Meteorological Office has created an information page about the total solar eclipse on 12 August 2026. It includes weather information, cloud cover forecasts, background information, maps, timings and links to important information from other organisations.

The page will be updated as the total eclipse approaches, including with the latest information from the Icelandic Meteorological Office and webcam feeds as they become available.
